About

I’m Anna, proudly South Australian with a temporary home in London.  I love reading on the go – planes, trains, restaurants – ideally on the beach, with a coffee …

Coffee is important.

Life with two children and quite a lot of travel (= ‘trailing spouse’!) is never idle, but I love reading on the go…

My growing stack of books ‘to read’ includes fiction and non-fiction, classics and contemporary.

The book that’s been on my bedside table for the longest time – but which I want to finish – is Master and Margarita. I also need to tackle Infinite Jest sometime soon.

I’ve succumbed to Ferrante fever, recently discovered Anita Brookner and love Haruki Murakami and Orhan Pamuk. For a light read I always return to Agatha Christie and P. G. Wodehouse. Travel favourites include Simon Winchester, Edith Wharton and Steinbeck’s Travels with Charley.
